Reserving your puppy & pricing

All of our bernedoodles are $3000

Benson's Doodles reserves the right to withhold 2 puppies from each litter to add to our breeding program.

To reserve your spot on the list is $400 and will go towards the final purchase price of your puppy. Reservations are nonrefundable but are transferable to a future litter. While we cannot guarantee we will have the specific gender, color, or coat type of your choice from your desired litter, we can guarantee that you will get a healthy and happy new family member! You are more than welcome to skip a litter and wait for the perfect puppy. We place everyone on our list in order of a signed reservation contract and payment received, in the event a pregnancy does not take, there aren't enough puppies out of your chosen litter, or one doesn't meet your criteria, then your deposit will transfer to our next available litter. This reservation is a service that I provide for you, by updating you with pictures of the puppies, talking with you, and giving you whatever you need to find your next family member.  By placing your reservation with us you are in agreement and accepting to these terms.

For families on our waiting lists, final payment is due at 7 weeks of puppies age once a specific puppy is chosen unless otherwise discussed. If for any reason we haven't received the final payment on the day of puppy pick up, your chosen puppy and spot in line will be lost. Your puppy will be considered yours once your reservation fee, and final payment are received and processed. If you need delivery, all shipping fees will be due along with the remaining balance of your puppy. We will NOT accept a check in person the day you pick up your puppy!

Reservations are nonrefundable; please only place a deposit if you are certain you will be ready for a new puppy, and PLEASE stop "shopping around" once you have placed a reservation.

We stand behind each puppy we sell, and each one will come with a 2-Year Health Guarantee. We guarantee your puppy to be free from any life threatening congenital defect or we will replace your puppy free of charge. Must present a letter from a certified veterinarian to verify. If your vet finds a life threatening defect with the puppy, Benson's Doodle reserves the right to have a second opinion from another vet at their cost.

Currently due to COVID we do not allow visitors, no exceptions. You will choose your puppy via pictures, videos or FaceTime in order of deposits received at 7 weeks of age.

Choosing your puppy

You've placed your reservation, puppies are here and you've enjoyed the process of watching them all grow on videos and pictures. At 7 weeks old all puppies go to the vet and have their wellness exam, two days later they have their temperament testing and the video is posted (you will receive notice of this.) We speak and set up a time for a phone call or facetime and we go over the puppies that are available, we'll talk about what you are looking for as a family, what temperament works for you, the type of coat each puppy will most likely have, what the vet said at the exam, and answer any and all questions you have. And then you make your decision.

At 8 weeks of age your puppy can be picked up, meetings must be prearranged.

If you need to fly to me to get your puppy you can fly into Bloomington, Illinois and I can meet you there to give you your puppy at no extra charge.

We also offer cargo shipping which varies in price- $450 being the average.

We do have a ground shipper we've used in the past, this on average is $450 and take the longest amount of time at around usually one week of road trip.
